03Mask

USE MASK INVERT

▸ Mask is per-layer — each layer keeps its own shape
▸ Pick MASK tool → paint the keep-area on the active layer
▸ Hold Shift while painting to erase the mask
▸ Toggle USE MASK to clip THIS layer to that shape
▸ INVERT flips it (paint the cut-area instead)
▸ Make a new layer on top → its mask is empty → draw freely
